Tricia Kennelly has been connected with Hastings & St Leonards since the early 1970's. Her son and daughter were educated in the Borough and both of them are married and live and work locally. She is a people person and very aware of local issues - she has petitioned against Post Office closures and against the possible Parking changes locally. She is very concerned about the neglect in West St Leonards with regeneration projects for the old bathing pool and the West St Leonards community Centre continually being put on hold or totally ignored by the current Councillors. She is a Board member of Greater Holington Partnership and has been involved with many of the projects that have made a real difference to the area. She is member of the South St Leonards Area Management Board and works as a volunteer at the Lib Dem Centre in London Road. She is honoured to have been elected Chair of the Hastings & Rye Liberal Democrat Party this year and looks forward to helping to raise the Lib Dem profile locally. |
