Margaret Williams has become synonymous with the Conquest Hospital, but who is she? Born in Iden, I went to school in Rye and College in Hastings. I have worked tirelessly to stop the downgrading of the Hospital and have proved that I can work with all parties for the good of the community. I will always protect YOUR Health Service. I do voluntary work at the Hospital Shop and am Secretary of the Friends of the Conquest. I am a volunteer on the Hastings and Rother Health and Social Care Forum and their representative on the Healthier Hastings Partnership Board. My daughter went to Helenswood School and my son to William Parker. My daughter and family live in Conquest Ward and my grandson goes to Little Ridge School. I am a director of two companies in the Borough whose liability is for more than 30,000 pounds in Business to Council Tax.
