LOCAL LIB DEMS FROM THE EASTBOURNE AND HASTINGS & RYE CONSTITUENCY PARTIES HAVE JOINED FORCES IN SUPPORT OF THE OPTION 5 CAMPAIGN.

Carnival in Old Town week gave another opportunity to keep this crucial issue in the minds of townsfolk. Cllr Sue Palmer of Old Hastings said, 'It was a great pleasure to march alongside Stephen Lloyd, our parliamentary campaigner for Eastbourne. It is crucial that local Lib Dems across East Sussex come together to support such an important cause.' Veteran Lib Dem politician Pam Brown OBE added, 'This is a great example of our two towns working together.  We do not have an 'us and them' mentality. Local people have shown that this is not what they want from their politicians, and it is not what they will get from the Lib Dems.'
